Firmware Version: 1.07

C225 still broken as regards firmware (stuck on 1.07 when 1.09 has been available since at least June)

Still broken as regards unable to delete individual files from SD card.

And now forum broken as C225 no longer in product list for smart cameras.

 

Whee.

Hi,
1. About the firmware of the Tapo C225, if you have any special scenarios or reasons that require you to upgrade to the latest firmware soon, please let me know the reason, and I'll forward it to the relevant team for evaluation to push the latest firmware to you. If the camera is working fine with firmware v1.0.7, it is recommended to wait patiently for the new official firmware release to your camera.

 

2. For the feature request to delete individual files from the SD card, it's suggested to vote and describe the usage scenario on this thread. We are keep logging the requests and have forwarded them to the relevant team to evaluate. I'll update the thread if there are any updates.
 

3. It's no problem to select Tapo C225 on the forum now. Please send me a picture showing the problem if you encounter it again.

No particular reason for firmware, just irritating that it is taking so long.

 

Already many votes on the thread for file deletion again it's just taking a long one time for what should be a basic feature to be added.

 

I'll have to try create a new thread and seee if the problem still exists.

List is different today...shows Tao cameras now instead of Archers...but there's still no C225 in the list.

 

Forum won't let me post image, says contains "illegal external references"...

Hi,
As you can see in the below picture, when starting a new thread here, the Tapo C225 will appear after typing "Tapo C225" in the Model column.
