Tapo TC70 stopped recoding since 3 days ago
for the last 3 days 25th Nov till Now (27th Nov) there is no recording being saved. I can watch the live view, able to move the camera, the camera can detect motion and move accordingly but there is just no recording all of a sudden.
Before doing a reset i wanted to know what could be the issue. Attached are some of the images from the app setting. I only need detection recording and not 24x7 recording.

The settings are correct in the provided pictures. In this case, please enable the camera's Notification or Alarm feature and then check if you can receive a notification or the camera will alarm when detecting an event.

Push Notfication are enable but nothing is being received. Alarm also enable but nothing happens as no alarms are heard. Screen shot as below. i have also noticed that when i turn on rich notification and go to the main screen and then return back to the notification screen ( this happens almost immediately) the rich notification is turned off again by itself. i am unable to upload the video file as of know to show you.

Hi,
1. It seems the Detection feature on the camera is not working from your tests. Please go to the camera's Device Settings > Detection page to check if the Motion Detection and Person Detection are enabled.
If so, set the sensitivity value to a higher one, set the activity zone to full screen, and then test if you can receive notification or if the camera will alarm when detecting events.

2. The rich notification can be enabled only after you subscribe to the Tapo Care service.
