Hi all,

Recently, one of my two Tapo C220 cameras received an OTA update to firmware version 1.2.2.

Since then, the ONVIF PTZ functionality has stopped working on my ONVIF Device Manager and tinyCamPro.

The other two cameras (C520 e C200), are working fine.

Could you please look into restoring this functionality, or let me know if a fix is on the way?

I look forward to your response and thank you in advance for your help!

Hi,
We have new firmware that may solve the Onvif Pan & Tilt issue on the Tapo C220, please send me(@Solla-topee) "Forum ID 719986 + C220's MAC address" via a private message if you want to try the new firmware.

Before the Upgrade:
(1) Please be sure you have read the

How to update the firmware of the Tapo devices on the Tapo App

Unfortunately, the update has caused an issue: the first camera (MAC 71-64) no longer restarts, appears offline, and shows a solid red light. It is no longer accessible via the Tapo app. As a result, I will not proceed with updating the other camera. Should I try the reset procedure? Roberto

Hi,
You can try to press the reset button on the camera(MAC 71-64) for 10 seconds, and check if the LED on the camera will change. If the LED is flashing red and green, you can try to reconfigure it.
If the camera still has a solid red light, turn off the camera, move it close to the router, turn it on, and wait for 10 minutes, then check if the LED will change.
Best Regards

Hi, I tried resetting the camera (MAC 71-64), but the LED did not change and remains solid red. I also placed it near the router and waited for 10 minutes, but it still does not reconnect, and the LED is still solid red. Is there any other manual procedure to attempt recovery? Regarding the other camera, how can I suspend the update? It is currently pending with a hanging message. Roberto
