Firmware Version: 1.3.1

I have a TC40. When I try to download clips. I get this message:

"Unable to download clips. Your phone is not connected to the same network as your Tapo device."

This is a real security problem because I live in another place than the one I am monitoring. Let's say someone robs my place and I want to save the clip so I will have when I need to show it to the police. But I am not able to do it unless I travel there. Maybe it takes time for me to arrive there.

 

Off topic: Please add a button in the app to deactivate the noise gate for the microphone. It is not safe that I can't hear what is happening. Another big security problem

Thank you very much for your feedback. 

1. If you want to download the video recordings from the SD card remotely, please vote on the thread "Download arbitrary clip from remote camera" and leave your usage scenario for evaluation.
Alternatively, you can go to the Tapo app > camera's Playback & Download > Playback > SD card page to watch the video recordings remotely, and then record the videos on your phone using the Screen Recorder feature.

 

2. The camera's sound is related to many factors, such as the camera's settings and installation location, environmental factors, etc. If you can't hear the sound from the camera on the Tapo app, would you please send us a video showing the reported issue for further analysis? Thanks!
