D235 doorbell and Deta 3501 chime

Hi,
I have the dreaded UK standard Deta 3501 chime which I believe according to online research only outputs 6v which evidently is not enough for the D235.
Has anyone had any luck with any other off the shelf chimes with this doorbell? Ie with integrated transformer etc.

Possibly a new transformer is needed. But let's see anyone can share a hint!
