Hi there - my camera keeps going offline. I get a notification that it is offline then another a while later saying it is back online. 

 

Connection to mesh network is fine, as is the battery. 

 

Started around the time of the cold snap in UK but assume -10c is OK for the camera. 

 

Help appreciated.

so I had same . Two things I did 

 

1) on the deco mesh settings i set connection to 2.4 ghz 

2) on Tapo app in Battery Status - I set Working Mode to - High Performance. 
 

since then has been fine . So far .

Hi, I to have an issue with my cameras going offline. The signal is showing full bars but it keeps dropping off! Any advice appreciated. Cheers C

I think this is a hardware fault.

 

I have the same problem and will return the camera with an RMA.

 

I just hope that the seller will accept the fault, since the camera works for a few hours after a reset.

 

I tried everything, including getting a WLAN Ränge extender from TP-Link. First I thought it fixed it, but two days later the camera was no longer working.

 

This one is HW1.2. I have another TC82 HW1.00 which is working without problem.

If you are willing to continue to troubleshoot, please confirm the following information for further analysis. It's hard to say the camera has an issue based on the provided information.
  1. When the camera is working, go to its Device Settings > Device Info page, tap the Wi-Fi icon, and check the RSSI value.
  2. How often does the issue occur? How do you restore the connection, such as by rebooting the camera?
  3. What's the model number of your router?
  4. Please refer to the instructions below to collect the camera log for analysis.
