C320WS recorded videos are skipping and pausing

Hi
I have 4x C320WS cameras mounted with TAPO Care Premium
The two cameras i use the most are recording my driveway and building entrance.
these two cameras record a lot of activity and are very important to be precise.
I'm experiencing that the motion of people is very jerky, they might pause or skip very fast..
eg. My wife might pass by on her bicycle and in one frame she is paused, then the video skips fast for 2 seconds and she's gone...
In case a thief or burglere would pass by, it's quite important that the recording is usable....
the APP on my iphone is version 3.11 (newest)
The WIFI signal in them is strong and the internet connection is 1000 / 1000 mbit (Wifi signal is at least 100mbits at their location)
Location is Copenhagen, Denmark, Scandinavia, Europa, Planet Earth
What to do ?

Hi,
The latest official firmware(1.3.5 Build 250522) may help you in this situation, and it's being released gradually now. We suggest waiting patiently for the new firmware, updating it via the Tapo app, and checking if it solves the issue.
I'm unable to open the link you sent, if the problem remains after the firmware update, you may upload the video to your YouTube site and send me a link to watch it.

Hi,
Please confirm the following information for the reported issue.
1. On the camera's Device Settings > Device Info page, tap the Wi-Fi icon, and please send us the RSSI value.
2. Please connect the camera to your router with an Ethernet cable if possible, then check if the issue remains.
3. Do you have the same issue when watching the camera's Live View page? If you download the cloud video clip on your Tapo app, do you have the same problem when watching it?
4. Could you please send us a video showing the reported issue? You can upload the video to your cloud server(such as Google Drive), generate a link to download it, and send me(@Solla-topee) the link via a private message.
Best Regards

@MartinKirk I'm having the same issue only with my C320WS. But I'm having version 1 hardware firmware 1.4.1. I'm pretty sure that it starts acting like this since I update to the latest firmware. Only happening on the cloud, video is smooth on the SD card. My C325wb is working fine so I will not update to the latest firmware

So i tried rebooting the camera and it seems to help..
So maybe i just need to reboot the cameras every day or once a week..

1. The cameras have an RSSI value of around -55 (±15) they generally have very good connection because of 3x DECO X55 just around them.
2. No, I need these cameras to work with WiFi - they didnt have this problem with previous firmware.
3. I dont have any problems when the video stream is LIVE, neither via RTSP - When downloading a video that is choppy, the video is still choppy when playing back on my phone.
4. I'll send you a link

So... Currently i'm experimenting with FullHD resolution instead of 2.5K and the skipping seems to have stopped..
So i suspect that there is a CPU limitation regarding the 2.5K resolution, that it kind of needs to "get going" before its able to sendt the video to the Cloud ...

Hi
I tried lowering the resolution to FullHD - so far it has fixed the issue.
But its not the solution to a firmware problem :-/
we paid for a 2.5K camera...
