I purchased the C220 camera, but I was surprised to find that it only offers two resolution options: 2K and 360p.

My DVR system only supports up to 1080p recording, which means I am currently forced to record at 360p — resulting in significantly reduced image quality.

Previously, I bought the C310, which supported 2K, 1080p, and 720p resolutions. I assumed the C220 would offer the same resolution options, which was a key reason I chose to purchase it. However, it turns out that the C220 only supports 2K and 360p, which is highly unreasonable and severely impacts usability.

I do not understand what technical limitations are preventing the addition of a 1080p option to the C220. I sincerely hope the company can provide a clear and reasonable explanation instead of a generic or unhelpful response.

Different models of Tapo cameras have varying feature sets. The Tapo C310 supports 1080P resolution does not mean that all other models will have the same capabilities. If you would like to learn details about a specific feature of a particular model, we suggest contacting our technical support team first.
