All recordings start when the motion is detected. 
Is it possible to change a setting so there is a buffer, where it will record 2 -3 seconds before the motion.

Hi,
The Tapo camera does not have an option to set a buffer to record 2-3 seconds before the motion. For your feature request, it's recommended that you vote and leave your usage scenario on this thread, "Record longer before motion detection events," for evaluation.
