1. Which mode(Auto or Night) have you selected on the camera's Live View > Video mode?
2. Could you please send us a video showing that the camera's spotlight is on, but the Live View page is black and white when the Smart mode is selected? You can upload the video to your cloud server (such as Google Drive), generate a download link, and send it to me (@Solla-topee) via a private message.
3. Please refer to the instructions below to collect the camera log.

1. What light is always turning on in Night mode? Is the camera's status LED or the spotlight?
2. Do you want the spotlight to turn on constantly when the camera works in the Night mode? If not, please describe your usage scenario and inquiries in detail.

1. SPOTLIGHT IS ON , in night permanently in BLACK AND WHITE MODE
2. i only want to turn on the spotligh when it detects motion , and i haved done the setting required to work this , it works in day but in night i have selected smart mode but the camera captures black and white with the spotlight on

Did you try this setting?
Here you can permanently set night or day mode.
Maybe your setting is night mode that can cause b&w video even in case of good light conditions.
