I have 2x C320WS cameras. Neither one recognizes a microSD card. I have purchased multiple cards including those on the compatibility list thats been tested and still the cameras indicate that there is no microSD card.

I have already followed all the listed trouble shooting steps, formattimg cards, cleared cache, rebooted cameras, reinstalled the app, restored to factory settings etc still no luck. It wont recognise any if the cards i have tried. I am convinced Tapo intentionally designed it this way so that users have no option but to use the subscription service. Trying to use a memory card should not be this tedious. I will unfortunately not be recommending Tapo cameras to anyone. I have spent more money on memory cards and subscriptions than the cameras themselves.

Hi,
Typically, the microSD card is easily detected by the Tapo camera after insertion. In your situation, please provide the following information for further assistance.

1. Have you powered on the Tapo camera with the original power adapter that comes with the camera in the package? If not, please power the camera with the original power adapter.
2. Is the camera connected to a third-party device/app via RTSP/Onvif connection?
3. The SD card's model number you listed is not in the "Compatibility List of microSD Cards We've Tested". Could you please send us the model number of the SD card you tested before, which is in the compatibility list?
4. Please send me (@Solla-topee) your camera's MAC address via a private message.
