Hi 

 

I am trying to setup Tapo C212 camera using my home wifi. My home wifi auto connects to my phone. Initially I keep the wifi off, I start the setup. Then it connects to Tapo wifi the I follow the onscreen instructions. It progresses a bit but in between Tapo network gets disconnects and setup shows an error no wifi found and my phone connects to home wifi using auto connect.

 

I did try reset the camera multiple times with no luck. Please help.

Typically, you can refer to the following instructions to troubleshoot when you fail to configure the Tapo camera.
What should I do if I fail to configure Tapo Camera?
 

In your situation, please try the following steps and confirm the related information.
  1. Press and hold the reset button on the camera for 10 seconds to perform a factory reset. When the camera has a flashing red and green light, connect your phone to the camera's default SSID, then check the IP address on your phone.


  2. Refer to the following instructions to set up your camera.
      How to set up the Tapo camera 


  3. If you get stuck in the same step, please send me a screenshot of the error that appears during the setup process.


  4. You can try to configure the camera with another phone if you have one.
