Firmware Version: 1.2.25

Device is not able to detect , therefore no recording at all. Although I've setup the detection, storage and there are movements too. But still no recording.

Hi, 
Please refer to Part 2 in the following instructions to troubleshoot if the detection feature is not working.
What to do if the Detection feature is not working on the TP-Link Camera?
 

If the same behavior persists, please confirm the following information.
  1. Go to the camera's Device Settings > Detection page, send us the screenshots of the Detection page and the Wake-up Sensitivity page, and check and send us the sensitivity value of the enabled detection types.


  2. Refer to the following instructions to test the camera's detection range, and ensure the event occurs within the detection range.
      Detection Range Test: test the activity detection zone of the Tapo Battery Camera 


  3. Please try to reproduce the event/motion in front of the camera, and record it manually on the camera's Live View page, then download the video to your phone and send it to us for further analysis.

You can upload the video and screenshots to your cloud server (such as Google Drive), generate a download link, and send it to me (@Solla-topee) via a private message.

1. Have followed the instructions, no help, still no detection. Below is screen shot of my setup.

 

2. Tried the detection range , walk up and down , it never trigger detection and thus no recording at all.

 

3. I have manual recorded the screen for you.

Hi,
Just double-confirm:
When you refer to the following instructions to test the detection range with the Wake-up Sensitivity set to 10, does the camera not respond (no spotlight or sound) when you walk across the camera's lens?
Detection Range Test: test the activity detection zone of the Tapo Battery Camera
 

If so, it may be that the camera is not working properly. You can contact your retailer or our local team to check if the camera is under warranty.

Yes, correct. When I'm running a detection test, walking around the room, recording does not gets triggered. And therefore no recording.
