Tapo C210
Hello, I need help with creating rooms in the tapo app. Since my business requires Tapo cameras and I have several branches throughout the country, I have installed cameras across various shopping malls nationwide. Currently, the tapo app has a limitation of 8 homes and a maximum of 32 sub-rooms in the main home. If I want to expand the number of homes or rooms beyond this, what should I do? I am unable to use cameras with DVR recorders or others. Is there any way to help address this? Thank you in advance.

Hi,
The homes and rooms in the Tapo app are currently limited, and we can't change this. However, I'll log your feature request and forward it to the relevant department for evaluation.
Based on your usage scenario, you may register multiple TP-Link accounts to manage cameras in different areas.

Hi,
The number of homes and rooms currently supported by the Tapo app is sufficient for most users. In your situation, how many Tapo cameras do you have? How many homes and rooms do you need?

@Solla-topee Right now I have about 232 cameras, and it will increase by another 500-1000. I need a house and a room that are unlimited since I use it for my store, which has branches nationwide and frequently relocates to find suitable sales points. The Tapo C210 fits my needs because it is easy to move. What should I do to achieve this objective? Please help me.

@Solla-topee Registering multiple TP-Link accounts to manage the cameras is something I cannot do because my cameras have already been installed. They cannot be transferred to a new account; if I were to do so, I would need to reset multiple cameras, which is inconvenient since they are spread across the country.
Thank you.

@Solla-topee Hello, could you give me some advice? I'm not sure what the relevant department's opinion is regarding this matter. Thank you.

Hi,
We take every community feature request seriously and ensure it is recorded. However, implementing each feature requires thorough analysis, evaluation, and consideration. We have no information on whether the request feature will be available on the Tapo app and when it will be released.
In your situation, for cameras that haven't been installed yet, you can create a new TP-Link account, configure the new cameras, bind them to the new account, and then assign them to different homes and rooms.
For cameras that have already been installed and have already been assigned homes and rooms, you can keep the existing settings. If you want to bind them to a new account with different homes and rooms, you can factory reset and reconfigure them.
Best Regards
