Model: Tapo C100
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Since Sunday, all of my 10 cameras, which are located in 3 different offices, have been offline. I’ve already changed the routers’ DNS to Google’s (8.8.8.8), restarted the devices, and even reset one of them, re-pairing and reinstalling it from scratch. That device came online for about one minute and then went offline again. The other nine have remained offline since Sunday. Upon checking the router controls, all appear connected. Additionally, they have normal lights (static green light).

Everything suggests it’s a similar issue to the one that occurred in May of this year (as mentioned in this thread: https://community.tp-link.com/en/smart-home/forum/topic/816036?sortDir=ASC&page=1).

Is there an estimated timeline for resolving this problem?

  @Solla-topee Thank you for your attention. Suddenly, in the same way they became unavailable, they became available again this Monday (October 13th). Regarding the access smartphone device, I had already tested it with three different smartphones and on different access providers as well. Thank you.

  @ErnaniRaposo

Hi,
The phenomenon you encounter may be different from the one that occurred in May of this year. In your case, please provide the following information for further analysis.

  1. Please send me (@Solla-topee) one of your cameras' MAC addresses via a private message.
  2. Please ensure the phone you used to control the cameras has internet. Disable any VPN or antivirus app on your phone. Update the Tapo app if it's not the latest one.
  3. You can enable a hotspot Wi-Fi on your phone, factory reset a camera, configure it with another phone, connect it to the hotspot Wi-Fi, and then check if you can control it in the Tapo app locally and remotely.

Best Regards
