Unable to Download Clips
Just purchased several Tapo 3K & 4K cameras and all of them have this same issue, all cameras are on the latest 1.1.3 firmware. When I go into the Tapo App (latest version) on iOS 26.1, click Playback & Download, choose an event and click the three dots, then click Download, this is the error I get: “Unable to download clips. Your phone is not connected to the same network as your Tapo device.”
I have triple checked my phone is connected to the exact same wifi network as my cameras are. I’ve tried rebooting the cameras, rebooting my phone, etc all to no avail. I cannot download the clips and thus cannot save any video events which is the entire point of having the cameras in the event something happens…
Please help resolving this major issue. It happens on every single one of my brand new cameras and I’ll have to return them all and move to a different brand of cameras if it can’t be resolved via Tapo app or firmware update.
