When my phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the camera, the device works normally and I can view the live feed.However, when I switch my phone to mobile data or a different network, the camera shows Offline in the Tapo app and cannot be accessed remotely.

Typically, you can refer to the instructions below to troubleshoot if the camera appears offline in the Tapo app.
What to do if I can't control my Tapo cameras on the Tapo app?
 

Please confirm the following information if the same phenomenon persists.
  1. What's the model number, hardware, and firmware versions of your camera?
  2. What's the LED status on your camera, such as solid red, flashing red, etc.?
  3. What's the model number of your router? Do you have internet on your phone when it connects to the same router's Wi-Fi as the camera?
  4. Please list the troubleshooting you did and the results.
