I have a C410 and I’m still trying to figure out how to optimize the battery life. The camera is pointed at a rarely frequented area: my balcony and its access. Only me and my family usually pass through the camera’s field of view; sometimes my neighbors from the adjacent flat also walk past my gate.

What are the best clip settings to optimize battery life? These are my current settings:

-retrigger interval: 15 sec

-buffer record: 10 sec

-clip length: 60 sec
 

I don’t understand whether the retrigger time should be set high or low, and the same goes for buffer recording — should it be high or low?
