Hola, Alguien sabe si es posible encender la luz de la cámara cuando ésta detecta movimiento para atulizarla como alumbrado en la puerta de casa? y por otro lado, también saber si es posible que me envíe una notificación si la cámara se desconecta de la red wifi.

Gracias

Hi,
When you select Smart Mode on the camera's Device Settings > Video & Display > Night Mode Settings page, when the camera works in night mode, it will turn on the spotlight when it detects events. The following instructions may help you.
Tapo Camera Day/Night Mode Selection Guide: Best Settings Recommendations for Different Scenarios

The Tapo cameras do not support the feature to send a notification when they disconnect from the Wi-Fi network. If your router supports the feature to send a notification when a client disconnects, you can configure the relevant settings on it.

Best Regards

@Solla-topee hi, thanks a lot for your quick response.

I did it days ago, but it doesn't work...maybe due to the street ligths give to my entrance a litle amount of light (I don't relly know how to explain it in english :-D) but when trying to open the door I create a little shadow with my body and I don't see where to introduce my keys...I will have to set a candle near to the camera :-(.

About the notification...other apps (smartlife) send a notification if a device is disconnected....and taking into account that we are working with cameras for "security".....ehem...no comments...If I knew this before buying the cameras.....

Kind regards

Hi,
If the camera won't enter night mode due to the street lights so the selected Smart Mode does not take effect, please check if you can move or adjust the camera's position or angle to avoid monitoring areas lit up by street lights. Then, test if the Smart Mode will take effect at night.

Regarding the feature request to have offline notifications, you can vote and leave your comments in the thread "Why there is no offline notification for tapo cameras?" for evaluation.

Best Regards
