Solution Can't use the Tapo app in Multi window view on Samsung phones and tablets after app updating

Phenomenon Description:
After the Tapo app updates to version 3.17.512 & 3.17.803, split-screen functionality is no longer available on Samsung phones and tablets, as shown in the picture below.

Workaround:
This phenomenon may be related to both Google and Samsung. We are actively communicating with them to explore possible solutions and will update this thread with relevant information later. In the meantime, you can try restoring this feature by adjusting the multi-window settings on your Samsung phone or tablet. The detailed steps are as follows:
1. Go to your phone or tablet's Settings > Advanced features > Labs > Multi window for all apps, and turn it on.
2. Restart the Tapo app and attempt split-screen again.
