Hi all

 

I need help with my outdoor camera TAPO C510W

 

it randomly disconnected from app and I need to do power cycle to bring it up, local recording is still working. 

 

I enabled the diagnostic and wait for the disconnection to occur again in order to have the log. 

 

Below are the snip of the log. 

 

Can anyone please advice ?

Hi, 
You can refer to the instructions below to troubleshoot if your camera keeps losing connection.
What should I do if my Tapo smart devices keeps losing connection or going Offline?
 

If the problem remains:
1. Confirm the test results of the above steps.
2. Check the LED status on the camera when it's offline on the Tapo app.
3. Do you have an offline issue when your phone connects to the same Wi-Fi as the camera?
4. Try to change the DNS server on your router to 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4 and check if it helps.

  @GaryTan did you get to solve this issue ? I am having the same problem, i opened all the ports in the router, assigned a static IP, allowed DMZ, portforwarding.....etc. and i can not use it. I changed internet provider (because i moved) and i am having this issue since then.

Hi,
Usually, there is no need to open ports on the router to control the camera with the Tapo app, you can refer to the above post to troubleshoot if you have the same issue.

The probleme shooting you refer were the first steps i've tried. After that i've tried everything else since i am still having connection issues. I've reviewed the log an the most repeated errors are : 
1- 4 HTTP - HTTP Client Send Buffer is full 

2- 4 HTTP - Close Session Called 

3-4 P2P -  P2P free session  (Session_ID)
4- 2 CloudIoT MQTT conn err 1006 - MQTT Event 4 err, stas 0 
5- 2  HTTP P2p dbg - UDT state (6)
