I have a AXE300 that is receiving 5GPS from my ISP

 

Internet (ISP) is connected to my AXE300 10Gbps Full Duplex SFP+/RJ45 Combo

 

Problem #1

my PC is only receiving 800-900Mbps over 6GHz. How can I get close to my ISP speeds?

 

Here's what I have...

 

- Ran CAT6 ethernet from the AXE300 10Gbps WAN/LAN port to the (Main) Deco XE200 10Gbps port (20ft). As a ACCESS POINT

- Using my PC's Wi-Fi 6GHz antenna to connect directly to Deco XE200 6GHz Wi-Fi (ASUS Pro-Art z690) (which is 5ft from the Main Deco, clear sight)

 


 


Problem #2

My (Second) Deco XE200 2.5Gbps ports are not providing internet via ethernet. Is there a fix?

 

Here's what I have...

 

- Ran CAT6 ethernet from the AXE300 2.5Gbps Full Duplex WAN/LAN to the (second) Deco XE200 10Gbps port (30ft). As an ASSESS POINT
- Plugged any device via CAT6 ethernet to the two 2.5Gbps ports on the Deco XE200

 

 

Please help with these two issues.

Is the current network layout like this:

I think I might need to forward your case to the senior engineers later. Could you please help me check the following details:

1. Did you disable the Wi-Fi on the Archer AXE300 and leave Deco XE200 as the only Wi-Fi resource?

2. Could you please refer to this link to help me check the wireless link speed on the Asus Pro:

How to check the associated/link speed on a wireless client

3. I see you mentioned that Deco XE200 works like Access Point, did you also change the Operation mode on Deco APP>More>Advanced to see Access Point as well?

4. As for the two wired devices that are connected to the satellite Deco XE200, what are these two devices? Have you set up any static IP addresses before?

5. If they are getting IP addresses via DHCP, could you please help me check whether they could get the correct IP address from AXE300?

Thank you for the replay!!!

 

Network layout is exactly how I have it...

 

1.) Wi-Fi is currently still enabled on my Archer AXE300 with the other Deco's using the same Username and Password

2.) According to my Wireless Link Speed its "2.4Gbps"

3.) Yes, both Deco's were changed via App to Access Points

 

4.) Disregard, started working out of no where via Ethernet Port

5.) Disregard, started working out of no where via Ethernet Port

 

Thank you for helping... Right now the only issue is the computer receiving less than desirable speeds.

Hi, Thank you very much for the update.

Have you ever tried to temporarily power off 2*XE200, and connect the ASUS Pro-Art z690 to the 6ghz of AXE300 to check the 6ghz wireless speed?

By the way, except ASUS Pro-Art z690, do you have other 6ghz compatible clients?

Sorry for late reply, crazy holiday weekend.

 

I've connected to the AXE300 only on its 6GHz Wi-Fi and was getting the same results. 

 

ASUS ProArt is my only device as of now.
