Model: Archer BE11000 Pro
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.2 Build 20251022 rel.33842(5553)

I just bought the Archer BE11000 Pro and noticed that the Connected Clients list doesn’t show the signal strength for each device (Weak, Medium, Strong, or Wi-Fi bars), unlike the BE9700 model. Is this a glitch, or does the Archer BE11000 Pro simply not provide that feature? It would be nice to see the signal strength for my Ring camera since it’s a bit far from the router, and I’d like to know how strong the signal is.

Hello @Just_Crusing ,

Welcome to our community.

Have you set the BE11000 Pro to Access Point mode?  What if you change it to wireless router mode?

Would it be convenient for you to compare the interface differences in the "Connected Clients" list between the BE9700 and the BE11000 Pro? If possible, please provide relevant screenshots.

@Joseph-TP Thanks for your reply. It has always been set to wireless router mode. The TP-Link support team shared the following with me a few days ago. Could you please confirm whether their response is accurate?

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Thank you for contacting TP-Link support.

I understand that you're noticing the Archer BE11000 Pro doesn't display signal strength (Weak/Medium/Strong or Wi-Fi bars) for connected clients in the client list, unlike the BE9700, and you'd like to know whether this is a missing feature or a glitch — particularly so you can monitor your Ring camera's signal.

For clarification, this feature is currently not available on the Archer BE11000 Pro.

At this time, the router only provides connected client information such as:

  • MAC/IP address
  • Connected network
  • Connected Wi-Fi band (2.4GHz, 5GHz, or 6GHz)
  • Real-time rate/speed
  • Total traffic usage

We will take your feedback into consideration and forward the case to the relevant team for review.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to let us know. We will be glad to assist further.

Best regards,

If you need further assistance or have anything additional to share, please feel free to let us know.

  @Just_Crusing ,

Thanks for getting back to us.

As far as I know, the signal strength display feature was introduced to the Archer BE9700 via a recent firmware update. Consequently, this feature has not yet been implemented on the Archer BE11000 Pro; therefore, it is normal for the device not to display signal strength at this time. This feature may potentially be introduced to the BE11000 Pro as well; I recommend keeping an eye out for future firmware updates.
