Creating a Static Route for Archer Routers and Starlink
After connecting to your Archer Router's Wireless network, you may find that you cannot manage the settings of your Starlink connection without first configuring a static route for your network.
Follow the steps below to configure a static route for your network to access the Starlink management interface while connected to your Archer router’s wireless network.
- Navigate to the Web Interface of your Router using its IP address or tplinkwifi.net
- For detailed instructions, see our FAQ: How Do I Log Into the Web-Based Management Page of a TP-Link Wireless Router
- Open the Advanced Tab
- Navigate to Network > Routing
- Click “+ Add” in the Top-Right Corner Above the Static Route Table
- Enter the Following Configuration Parameters:
Network Destination: 192.168.100.0 (The IP Address of Your Starlink Gateway)
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway Field: 192.168.100.1
Interface: WAN
- Click Save
You should now be able to access the settings for your Starlink Gateway while connected to your new Wi-Fi network, with access to Starlink features such as Snow Melt, Satellite Calibration, and overall statistics from Starlink.
