Hello,

I have purchased and set up HS103P4 smart plugs for my Smart Home. The set up was seamless and was completed without issues.

However, to be able to add this plug to my Google Home, I need to allow 'remote control' through the Kasa smart app. This option does not turn ON, and gives me an error 'Device not connected to Internet' even though I have just set it up and I am able to control the plug through the app.

Based on online recommendations, I have changed DNS settings on my router (TP-Link Ax3000 pro) and reset both the router and the smart plug multiple times.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

From your Smart Phone disable your wireless connection.  This will force your phone to cellular service.  From this point, open the Tapo or Kasa app (depending on which you are using to control the products).  Try to operate the on/off operation and share any error codes or messages you may receive. If the plug in not accessible or greyed out please also mention that.

If you can also let us know what the LED light on the plug is doing.  Such as is it solid blue, blinking orange and blue, etc.
