It would be nice to have this feature. I have two zones setup for my front yard camera. One for detecting person and cars on my driveway and another for whole view for motion. I'd like to be able to record for any of these events but only notified for the events for the driveway zone. For example I record the whole view when someone riding a bike on the street but I don't want to be notified for that unless that person steps on my driveway. 
if i keep driveway zone i lose the ability to record other events outside of it. If i extend the zone to whole view then i get notifications that i don't want. I can setup multiple zones per person or a vehicle but notifications setting only controls the camera not the individual zones.

Hi, 
On the Tapo C120's Device Settings > Notifications page, please check if you can select the Activity Type. If so, to achieve your usage scenario, you can select only the person and vehicle activity types.

 

For example, when you have two zones set up for the front yard camera, one for detecting the person and vehicle on the driveway, and another for the whole view for motion. When someone is riding a bike on the street and enters the driveway, you may receive a person-detected notification, and the event will be recorded. If the person does not step on the driveway, you won't receive a notification; however, the event will be recognized as motion and be recorded.

  @Solla-topee ok thank you, I already had the setup but my notifications were on for everything so disabling it for motion fixed that. Although it limits the user a bit, like having 2 different zones for motion and user wants to be notified for one zone only, like having trees on one side that create a lot of false positives so they don't want to be notified for that zone. Since it's not a per zone setting disabling notifications will disable both zones.

Having said that most people won't need that I assume so current implementation seems good enough.
