Tapo C225 V2 (with Apple HomeKit Support) - is shown as off-line and the RED LED is solid.

I am unable to Reset the camera and in the Tapo app - the Camera is shown as Offline.

I have powered cycled the camera as well as tried a different adaptor but it does not work.

On some occassions - the camera makes Click Sound with Red LED blinking.

When I power off and then power on the camera - the camera DOES NOT initiate the boot cycle where is rotates and then starts.

The camera is still in warranty perioud.

Hi,
You can try the following steps to troubleshoot if the camera can't be reset successfully.

  1. Remove the camera from the Tapo app even if it's displayed offline.

  2. Turn the camera off, then power it on using the original power adapter and cord. Next, press the reset button for 10 seconds to perform a factory reset on the camera.

  3. If the camera has a flashing red and blue light, try reconfiguring it.
If the LED on the camera does not change, you can contact your retailer or our local team to check if the camera is still under warranty.

Best Regards
