Moderator Note:
1. The availability of DoH and/or DoT may vary by region even for the same model. Please check your local website for more information.
2. The above list might not include all models and hardware versions. It is recommended to keep watching the firmware releases for your router, as all the newly supported features will be listed in the patch notes if/when it is added to your version.
3. DoH would not be available when the router works in Access Point mode. Visit this FAQ to know more about the difference between Access Point Mode and Router Mode.
Introduction and Configuration
DoH/DoT Introduction
DoH (DNS over HTTPS) and DoT (DNS over TLS) are two methods that enhance the security and privacy of DNS queries in network communications.
DoH encrypts DNS queries within HTTPS traffic, making them indistinguishable from regular web traffic and difficult to monitor.
DoT uses a dedicated TLS connection for DNS messages, ensuring they are secure from eavesdropping and tampering.
DoH/DoT Configuration
You can go to Advanced > Network > Internet page to enable DoH or DoT.
- For AX and BE series, refer to the screenshots below.
- For AC models, refer to this screenshot:
Note: There are 3 built-in DoH Servers: dns.quad9.net, dns.google, and cloudflare-dns.com, you can choose one at a time.
For more details about the DoH and/or DoT configuration, please refer to How to Configure DoH/DoT on a TP-Link Wireless Router.

@Kevin_Z is there anything to to worried about? I am getting a lot such steam code logs on C64 Firmware Version: 1.13.1 Build 230609 Rel.32076n(5553)
I have Reliance Jio router as main router (India) 192.168.29.1, than made C64 as main router again via NAT (192.168.0.1) to use DoH and than two access point (IP- 0.2 & 0.3) connected to it using wired backhault (AX10 v2 & A6 V3).
Hi @Gopal2020, thank you very much for sharing your thoughts on DoH.
Were you aware of which access or visit triggers this HTTP status code 400? Or is it possible to confirm that?
Generally, this HTTP status code 400 indicates that the server cannot or will not process the request due to something that is perceived to be a client error (for example, malformed request syntax, invalid request message framing, or deceptive request routing).

You may subscribe to this thread and will be notified when Archer AX53 supports DoH. I will update the thread once there are new models that support DoH.
BTW, AX53 has already supported IoT Network on the latest 1.2.2 version:
