Hello,

 

I haven't had this problem before, but today my camera stopped submitting replays or sending me notifications. I usually turn the camera off and on when I experience problems and everything works accordingly. But today problems persist even though I've tried rebooting and unplugging.

 

In the tab "Replay and download" it says "activity registered 1 min. ago", but no replays. It has not been there before.
I usually get a notification when there is movement and then a replay, but it has stopped today.
Notifications are still turned on.

 

Hope you can help me to solve the problem.

You can refer to "Part 1> Case 2: The camera has detected the events but cannot receive the notifications" in the link below to troubleshoot.
What to do if I can't receive notifications with the Tapo Cam or have a delayed notification?
 

Please confirm the following information if you need further help.
1. Please go to the camera's Device Settings>Notifications page and send me a picture of it.
2. On the camera's Live View>Playback & Download>Playback page, please take a screenshot and send it to me.
3. On the Tapo app>Home page>tap the Bell icon>tap your camera, and send me a picture of the notifications history.

I need further help, as the link didn't help the problem.

 

1.Please go to the camera's Device Settings>Notifications page and send me a picture of it.

 

 


2. On the camera's Live View>Playback & Download>Playback page, please take a screenshot and send it to me.

My concern is on this topic, because this second picture says "Activity detected 1 min ago" And on the first picture it says no recording? This has never happend to me before.


3. On the Tapo app>Home page>tap the Bell icon>tap your camera, and send me a picture of the notifications history.

Hi,
1. Have you inserted an SD card into the camera? If so, you can select the SD card icon on the Playback page and check if there are video clips.
On the Playback page>tap the cloud icon, and check if there are video clips after changing the date.

 

2. On the camera's Device Settings>Detection page, please check what detection types you have enabled.
Then on the Notifications page, you can select the activity types to be the same as the enabled detection types. If the Activity Type is 0, you won't receive a notification when an event is detected.

Hi,


1. 

I do have an SD card into the camera. I do have some difficulty with initialize my SD card. I did try two different but no luck. Can you recommend an SD card for C310 camera?Without my SD card I still got notifications and replays. I do have a Tapo Care subscription. 

 

2. 

- All detection types are enabled. 

- On the "Activity type" page it says "0". But there is nothing to select on the page as shown on the picture below. There is only a short sentence and nothing else. So how am I supposed to select activity types? Is this the reason why I'm not receiving any notifications or replays? 

 

I really need a solution to fix my problem regarding not receiving replays or notifications, please. No replays or notifications for 3-4 days now and also paying for Tapo Care without getting what I'm paying for. As described before, I never had any issues with my camera regarding receiving replays or getting notifications, It's first time for me.

1. You can refer to the link below to see the microSD card that can work with the Tapo cameras.
General Information about using MicroSD Cards with TP-Link’s Kasa or Tapo Cameras?
When purchasing a microSD card, it is recommended to go to its introduction and warranty pages to see if it is mentioned that the microSD card is not suitable for cameras.

 

2. For the notifications and video recordings issues, I have reported them to the tech team, and they will likely reach out to you via email to continue troubleshooting your issues. Please check your email box and confirm.
