Hi, I'm trying to negotiate with the senior engineer to see whether he could help us request a new beta version based on the official 1.3.0. So far, I'm waiting for his confirmation.
If it can't be ready within this week, I'm afraid it would be better to revert to 1.2.8 first(How to Downgrade Deco-Method 2 via firmware recovery)
Update:
The new beta firmware based on the official 1.3.0 has been updated here-Satellite Deco Units Work Well but Display Offline on the Deco APP
Thank you very much and best regards.

Hi, Thanks for the new update.
I noticed you also submitted the latest Deco APP log and I will forward to the engineers for further comfirmation.
As for the reports, apart from disabling "Reports" under Deco APP>More>Reports>Settings, there is a "Notifications" settings under Deco APP>APP settings. You could also try to disable "Monthly Reports" notification here.
Thank you very much and best regards.
okay thanks, I hope the problem can be found and solved.
because of the reports, but that would only solve the symptom and not the problem itself?
I don't want to have any reports in my history and these are probably saved on the TP-Link cloud. I have already tried to completely delete the app data and reset the Deco system to factory settings and when I set it up again, I can see in the history that the reports are still there. Only completely deleting my TP-Link account helped. When I registered again a day later with the same email address, the data was deleted. It would be nice to have a function to be able to delete this data manually.

@David-TP I have three Deco X60(EU) v3.2 (AX5400). Could you please clarify whether this firmware is compatible with these as well?

Hi David,
I hope you and your family are doing well.
I just have one question for your development team, and they shouldn’t hesitate to provide a technical response. I’m knowledgeable in both technical and hardware matters.
The question I’d like to ask is:
Is the reason for not adding the DoH/DoT feature to the X60 v3 and X73 DSL devices due to hardware limitations or technical constraints?
I would like to know the real reason why this feature has not been implemented in these devices.
Please don’t hesitate to provide a detailed answer.
Thank you to you and your team.

Hi, Nice to see you again.
Since Deco X50 can support DOH/DOT, I don't think there would be a hardware limitation for Deco X60_V3. The new features are more like a matter of time.
For the Deco X73-DSL, things are more complicated. As it is more like a combination of DSL gateway and Deco Mesh, the firmware upgrade will require careful consideration of multiple factors.
Thank you very much and best regards.

Thank you, David.
Due to the negative developments in Turkey now, access to social media has been banned.
There is no VPN support in my x73 dsl modem that I use in such a technology. And this device has the capacity to keep up with the current technology.
I may have spoken harshly to you because this negative situation in my country has upset me. Sorry, but the software support policy of tp link is really an issue that needs to be discussed.
This is an incredibly sad situation.

Hello!
I found this thread as I'm trying to troubleshoot my network after the firmware upgrade.
I use three X60(US) v3, I'm in Canada. Today at night I got a notification about firmware 1.3.0 being available, so I installed it (1.3.0 Build 20240830 Rel. 50008). After that I started having issues (no connection to my devices, like cameras and plugs, websites loading slowly or at all, speedtest showing an error connecting). This is not an issue of the provider, as I connected to the wifi on the provider's modem/router and it's working well.
What I found interesting is that this firmware dissapeared from the support page and now the latest one to download is Deco X60(US)_V3_1.0.13 Build 20220805.
Is it possible that there are some issues with the firmware itself? Anything you'd suggest to do at this point?

Self update - I chatted with the consultant, they suggested changing a few settings, but it didn't work. They even suggested it was a hardware issue (because they confirmed it had the newest firmware). Eventually I downgraded the version to 1.2.9 and everything started working as it was yesterday. In the app I can see a pending update (to 1.3.0), but I think I will skip it for now.
Anyway - if anyone has any idea what might have caused it, I'll be more than happy to hear to some hypothesis!

Hello!
I stumbled across this thread.
I have three (3) Deco x60 in my house. First, I bought two, then a while back i bought another one. Everything been working great since.
That's until I did the firmware update today (remotely).. My two original Decos was updated to 1.3.0 Build 20240830, but my new Deco was not updated.
When i got home from work I have no internet. Or, actually I have 0,82 Mbit out of the 250..
In all of this i find that the new Deco that didn't get firmware update, says its an X60(EU) v4.2 - while my other two Decos, apparently, are v3.
Right now I'm trying to donwgrade the updated Decos to the previous version to 1.2.9 but I'm Struggling to find that particular version :(
Anyway, so my questions.. are the different versions of the x60 Decos not campatible with eachother? If so, how come this is NOT advertised for the consumer?
And my other questions. Is there a 1.3.0 update for v4.2? Will they work again if they are on same firmware version?
Thanks!
BR,
André
