@Timb000 Curious to know if you ran this through a switch would it yield the same result?
I'm running all satellites through an unmanaged 2.5Gbit switch without issue.
Also, have you tested the cable? I had to replace a cable that somehow was cut and dropped speeds to 100Mbit as well.

I have tested several CAT7 and CAT8 cables and the issue remains. I can check if a switch between the main and the satellite unit can help, but in my opinion it is rather unlikely. I'll give it a try anyway!
In addition, my BE65 satellite is connected via 2.5Gbit (also ethernet backhaul) without issues.
Only my BE85 satellite is affected. Strangely enough, everything (related to ethernet backhaul) worked fine before the update for many months....

@Timb000 Huh, so the 2.5Gbit ports are ok....did you try the BE85 over the 2.5 port just to see if its an issue with the 10 gig port? And did you try both 10 gig ports + the SFP? Although, you'd need an SFP to RJ45 adapter for the latter.

@XWEBNetwork Unfortunately, using the 2.5Gbit port of the BE85 satellite also limits ethernet backhaul to only 100Mbit. I've tried out all ports (except for SFP) and they all run at 100Mbit now.

Hi,
I was given version 1.1.3 to install by technical support to fix problems with the internet connection continually dropping, and it resolved that issue. The only problem I have remaining is that I cannot use mlo Wi-Fi7 with my pixel 8 phone.
Is version 1.2.0 likely to fix the problem with my pixel phone? Also in case of problems with version 1.2.0 is it possible to downgrade the firmware back to 1.1.3?
Thanks
Luke

Hi, Nice to see you again.
I think the 1.2.0 version will help with internet connection continually dropping, but I can't guarantee it will work for the MLO network on the Pixel 8.
The firmware can be downgraded via firmware recovery, but firmware recovery requires a hardware reset of the Deco.
Best regards.

What are the implications of doing a firmware recovery and hardware reset of the Deco, and can you point me to the instructions to do that.

As 1.2.0 will be the next official version for Deco BE85, if there are any issues, please feel free to comment below, and I'll consult with the engineers at the earliest possible time.
Thank you very much.

I have installed 1.2.0 that works great IF I am using the 2.5gb out from BE85.
However, if I am using the 10gb out from BE85 to my POE switch to X50 POE it starts to be very messy.
1) X50 POE doesnt understand it is wired.
2) X50 POE speed is max 180mbit/s
3) Network map is wrong
Connecting BE85 2.5gb out to my switch the X50 POE speed is 1300 mbit/s and Network map is correct and all X50 POE are correctly wired again.
Regards
Markus
