I'm trying to setup my camera so that at night the spotlight comes on with detection. If I select colour mode, the spotlight is always on. IR mode, no spotlight at all. Is this correct? Seems like spotlight only on with detection would make most sense with a battery camera. Any ideas?

If you want the Tapo C410 to turn on the spotlight when it detects events, we suggest selecting the Full-Color Mode. In this mode, when awakened by an event or app access, the camera will turn on the spotlight for full-color images, and it will turn off the spotlight when entering sleep mode.
