Hello, 

 

I am using various Tapo devices to keep my House secure. Recently I saw a firmware update on the app. I did that immediately. The camera started working again. I wasn't home the night before yesterday, I got a few notifications of Motion detection. I was sleeping and noticed it later. When I reached home I found out that someone breached in and did steal a lot of things. 

When I tried playing footage of motion detection from Tapo Camera, it would just skip to the real-time screen. I took out the memory card and tried playing on my MacBook. I can now see various files but can play only those before the update. There are more than 10 files that I can see in there but can't play. 

 

Tried various footage repair software but nothing is able to repair that. Please let me know what can be done? 

 

PS: I tried turning the camera on and off. it is now behaving normally and footage is being played as well. But the one after Firmware update still not working. I need to give those to Police as evidence.
