Model: Tapo C310
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.2.2

I noticed one thing that is annoying. The image quality is ok but every 2-3 seconds the pixels move. It is annoying, I do not see such an effect on other cameras with much cheaper percentages. I uploaded a new firmware but it is still the same. Power frequency settings do not improve

I attach a video, one has normal speed this strange effect is visible, when the video is accelerated the effect is clearly visible

Normal speed:

Accelerated:

Shooting timelapse in this case is out of question because the effect is nightmarish. I am wondering if it is my camera's fault or others have the same effect

@Darek1988 @Dan84 @nomadJuice

Hello everyone

Thank you for the feedback.

As checked with our engineers, the pixels in live view will refresh when the focal length of a lens changes,  as focus is adjusted when a camera shoot video, you will notice a slight and imperceptible flicker, this behavior is common for the Lens of camera. You could set the camera on higher resolution like 1080P and 3MP to mitigate phenomena as possible.

Hope this help explain the situation.

  @Darek1988

I am also facing the same issue.

I do not have SD card recording enabled, but the video feed is being saved on my computer via RTSP.

Were you able to figure out a solution for this issue?

  @nomadJuice  In the newest Firmware Version: 1.2.2 it is a little better but unfortunately the effect is still there. This effect does not occur in another tplink vigi camera. The video from the camera is recorded on tplink DVR and it does not matter whether the recording is on a card or rtsp stream

this surprises me because I have cameras from China that cost literally 20usd and they do not have this effect

  @Darek1988

I have a Tapo C320WS and have exactly the same issue. Every 2 seconds the pixels shift slightly.
