Model: Tapo C500
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.6

Why has the 720p option been removed from my C500 and will it be coming back? I have 3 C500 cameras and one of them i have updated to the latest firmware 1.0.6 and the 720p resolution option is no longer available, just 1080p and 360p.... my cameras are positioned at the very edge of my WiFi range and 1080p can be a little to intensive for the connection, 720p was perfect compromise as 360p well just isn't quite clear enough....

Is this intended? Or a bug? Or a failed install of the firmware?

If this is intended is there a way to downgrade the firmware? If it not intended how can I fix it/ When will it be fixed?

P.s not 100% sure on the hardware version.

  @Llamapie678

Hi,
Currently, the 720P video quality option is removed from the Tapo C500 on the FW 1.0.6 & 1.1.1(in release). I have forwarded your usage scenario and feature request to the related team, and there is a plan to add this option back via firmware updates. However, I have no information about when the firmware will be released.

Please wait patiently.

Best Regards
