SMART MODE NOT FUNCTIONING IN MY TAPO C520WS
Hello!
My C520WS was set to Smart Mode.
An event has been detected, yet the camera remained on the IR mode.
Smart Mode should automatically activate the LEDs for the Full Color whenever an event is detected. Is my understanding correct?
I have motion, person & pet detection ON.
Smart Mode ON

Hi,
On the camera's Live View page, please confirm if the Video mode is set to Auto mode.
If not, you can change the mode and check if it helps.
If so, you can reply to the email from the tech team for further analysis.
Best Regards

@Solla-topee it is always on 'auto' mode. Done the resets and deleting the cam and re installing. I'm assuming it's the update, because it was working fine, in fact I had stopped checking it, as I thought the issue was solved as it was working perfectly apart from the amount of time the light stayed illuminated when triggered. (Staying on 2 mins, but that's more sensible for our wee space anyways)

@Summer_S thanks for your reply. Yea, tried all of that, I thought I'd finally got it sorted (big thanks to the Tapo tech team) but, it's stopped again 😞. Here's hoping they can figure out the problem again. Hope yours is working as it should. 😊

Same problem as everyone else is having. This smart mode thing is not working. I saw the 1.2.8 update was supposed to fix this but it hasn't. When is it actually going to get fixed?
