After updating to firmware 1.0.28, the starlight mode sensor stopped working. Prior to the firmware, the starlight mode sensor allowed me to see night time details. After the firmware update the video stream is pitch black. The C225 can still switch from day mode to night mode to auto, but while day mode is ptich black, night mode is unusable as the IR sensor reflects off the window and all I can see is the glare of the reflection. Is there a way to roll back the firmware version?

same here. I updated firmware like 10 mins ago crying

@Solla-topee please help to rollback c225 v1 1.0.28 firmware.

1. Generally, it's unable to roll back the firmware version. 

 

2. On the Tapo C225's Device Settings>Video & Display> Night Mode Settings page, is the Starlight Mode selected? If so, on the camera's Live View page, if you have selected the Day mode, please send me a picture of the Live View page.

 

3. On the Night Mode Settings page, if you select the Infrared Mode and the Night Vision Distance is selected Close, when the camera works in the Night mode, the IR LED is invisible.
