I was able to do a factory reset, via browser, on my camera. After that the first login with default user/pass i was also able to change the default password successfuly.

Now i can access camera via ip address on the browser and also TP-Link Camera Control application on Windows. The new password works fine on both, i can see the live video.

 

I install the tpCamera App on android (version 3.2.9), i locate the camera, but then asks to login with user admin (fixed), when i try with my new password gives wrong password all the time. Even after factory reset gives the same error for default user/pass.

 

Can anyone help me, because, without the camera configured on my phone is is useless.

Hi,
You can check if the following steps will help you.
1. Disable/uninstall the VPN and antivirus apps on your phone. Ensure your phone has an internet connection when connecting to your home Wi-Fi.

 

2. If you have changed the login password of the NC260 but failed to log in to the camera on the tpCamera app with the new password, please try to log in to the web UI of the NC260, and change the login password again, ensure it's working by logging into the camera's Web UI, then test if the new password is working on the tpCamera app.

 

3. If the problem remains, please log in to the web UI of the NC260, go to System > Management page, tap the Reset button to factory reset the camera, and then refer to the instructions below to configure the camera via the tpCamera app and check if it helps.
Note: In Step 5, please remember to set a new login password rather than use admin.

4. Try a different phone.

Just to inform that the steps that you describe in 1, 2 and 3, i did them multiple times and nothing.

 

As you mentioned in the 4 point, i tried in an iPad, and guess what, it worked really fine.

 

So after that, i uninstaled my app on the phone (android), installed again, clean cache, and login into my account. And the camera was there. The problem is, in android i am not able to initialize the live video.

 

So conclusion, on ipad e am able to add my camera and see the live video. Back to android phone i can see now the camera but its unable to initialize the video. I think its a problem with the android app
