Tapo C520WS keeps disconnecting from wifi, goes offline in tapo app and led shows solid amber
Hi,
I brought Tapo C520WS camera and installed the same. I have configured the same using Tapo app, but i observe that the device keeps showing offline in Tapo app every now and then even though its led shows green soon after configuration. I suspected it could be network issue as tools like wifi analyzer were showing low signal strength and have installed a wifi extender for the same and now the signal strength is between -50 dbm to -55 dbm. But the camera still shows offline after some time. Other devices are working perfectly connnecting to the network too. The LED always shows solid orange colour instead of green and am pretty sure its recording, but it shows offline in Tapo app.
I have tried everything i could as suggested in the community posts but with no luck. Any pointers on how to fix this is greatly appreciated.
Router am using: TP-Link AX1500 Wi-Fi 6 Router
Wifi Extender am using: TP-Link | AC1200 WiFi Range Extender RE305
I have to restart my router and camera to be able to make it work again and change the led colour back to green and this has to be done atleast once every day!!
