Solution What can I do if the Tapo C325WB continues to record detection video clips?

Phenomenon Description:
After upgrading the Tapo C325WB V1 to firmware version 1.3.4 Build 250427 Rel.72292n, you may experience the following phenomenon.
- The Tapo C325WB, which is set to record detection video clips, continues to record 3-minute video clips on the SD card even when no events are detected (as shown in the picture below).
- When the camera works in Night mode and the Smart mode is selected on the camera's Device Settings > Video & Display > Night Mode Settings page, the spotlight remains on and can't be turned off.
Workaround:
We have a new firmware that may resolve the reported issue. Please email us with the subject line "[Forum ID 829760] + Tapo C325WB continues recording detection video clips" and provide the following information if you would like to try the firmware.
1. The MAC address of the camera
2. A screenshot of the camera's Playback & Download > Playback > SD card page.
Before the Upgrade:
(1) Please be sure you have read the Beta Test Agreement before upgrading the Pre-release firmware!
(2) How to update the firmware of the Tapo devices on the Tapo App
(3) Firmware downgrade is not supported. When a new official version is released, updating it will overwrite the beta version.
