Model: Tapo C200
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Dear, for some days (I think just after you made a software update on the app) my camera went offline for no reason. When I tried to put it back online it deleted himself from the app saying I have to install the camera again. The led was then red continuously together with left and right red leds burning all the time. I did the reset for 3 seconds, did the installation, leds were green and red blinking. Appears in the WiFi settings, but then he finds every network from the whole neighbourhood except mine! I tried this 100 times, even adding our WiFi manually but nothing works. Please help me. It has worked for 2 years without any issues. Thank you.

  @PatriciaC200

Hi,
You can try the following steps to troubleshoot if you fail to set up your camera.

  1. Please press the reset button for 10 seconds on the camera to perform a factory reset. Wait for two minutes, then try to configure the camera when it has a flashing red and green light.
     How to set up the Tapo camera
  2. You can refer to the following instructions to troubleshoot when failing to set up the camera.
      What should I do if I fail to configure Tapo Camera?

If the camera still can't find the router's 2.4G Wi-Fi network during configuration, please confirm the following information.
  1. What's the model number of the router?
  2. Do the 2.4G and 5G Wi-Fi networks have the same name? If so, set a different Wi-Fi name for the 2.4G Wi-Fi. Then, test if you can connect your phone to the 2.4G Wi-Fi and check if it works fine. If yes, try to set up the camera again.
  3. If the camera can't find the 2.4G Wi-Fi, ensure the router's 2.4G Wi-Fi channel is within 1-11. And ensure the Wi-Fi name and password do not include special characters.

Best Regards
