Hi guys, recently I acquired 2 tapo c520ws, and in one have a very strange problem, the camera is set to smart mode, obviously in the night the camera use the infrared mode, but if I tilt horizontal (not verticaly) result in a crash and in a forced reset, If I enable the full color mode in night, I can tilt horizontal with no problem. It's a very strange issue, anyone know hot to fix it ?

Hi,
In your situation, please check if the camera is powered by an extension cable or a non-original power adapter.
If so, try to power the camera with the original power adapter and power cord that comes with the camera in the package, then test if the camera will work fine in infrared mode.

  @Solla-topee Hi Solla, Sorry for the late reply, but the camera is using its original power adaptor and power cord to connect to my house's electrical power. 🥲

Hi, 
1. Please test if the same phenomenon occurs when you select Infrared mode rather than Smart mode.

 

2. We suggest following the instructions below to collect the camera log for further analysis. If you have reproduced the phenomenon and collected the camera log, please let me know.
