Model: Tapo C530WS
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.1.3

Over the past month, the camera has been very buggy.

For example, it seems to loose it home position in the vertical axis, so the camera is often pointed up, so this means the camera can't even go look down at the garden/door - I have to constantly calibrate it which is so annoying. THIS IS REALLY BAD, A SECURITY CAMERA WHICH DOESN'T LET ME FULLY SEE MY GARDEN BECAUSE IT'S REACHED IT'S "END POSITION" which is obviously not true.

Also, the motion detection tracking has become very erratic and crazy, it moves far too much at times which makes it very hard to view the live preview, I'm not sure what the cause is as sometimes it's very good but sometimes it's very bad, I think it's because it accelerates too fast to a detection box which messes up the tracking as it tries to over correct.

I'm not sure if this is because of a firmware update which caused these bugs because it never used to happen, so perhaps a recent change?

  @Adamx

Hi,
We suggest referring to the following instructions to troubleshoot the reported behavior.
What to do if the Tapo Pan/Tilt camera can't return to its original position properly after tracking
Best Regards
