Yeah, I'm sure it's only a firmware limitation, and because of it, in my opinion, it's a very serious security hole; you can't cover a blind spot under a camera.

Both cameras are mounted almost in the same spot, on the left c225v2, on the right c260.

Here c260 view range, but here I forced the camera with my hand to go further, so as you see, it's definitely possible to do this by adjusting the firmware:

  @Solla-topee , thank you, you suggested considering Pan and Tilt models, I thought the C260 was a p&t model.

 I used to work for SONY, GM, wrote both firmware and app code for radar actuators, and other embedded devices. Since the initialization on the C260 probes the entire range (and is way above the current max tilt range), the limits are definitely "artificial" and probably either in firmware (which might inherited settings from other products) or in the app.

 I'm simply requesting a - possibly - small change to make this amazing hardware compatible with our nursery. As others noted, the blind spot due to the software limited range is really debilitating and makes this otherwise amazing camera useless and a risk. I really would like to keep my C260 and buy more, but at the moment it's difficult to justify.
