Tapo battery camera C610 Kit goes offline into Tapo App but is connected to WiFi
Hello,
I recently bought 2 Tapo cam C610 Kit, both of them appears as offline in the Tapo Android app randomly and for several hours.
They re-appear as online randomly and independently each other.
It happens both when the android smartphone is connected to the same WiFi as the cameras and when the android smartphone is connected via 4G/5G mobile network.
It happens with current firmware (1.2.1) but it was happening also with previous version (1.1.1)
The WiFi signal is good and connection is reliable: the 2 cameras appears as connected to the WiFi when checking the router's associated devices.
Hence, I understood the problem isn't with the WiFi connection rather with the Tapo app connection with the cameras.
Any suggestion?

Unlucky for me... i don't have a new update if i search it in the settings...
Did you do the update on the normal way?
I mean in your camera settings?

HI @Cassian I think they pushed the updated firmware directly to my account/cameras (I provided them with the MAC Address)
I think maybe you can write to support.forum@tp-link.com and ask the have the firmware pushed to your device as well?

@Tapo-007 Tapo support was able to solve the issues after some troubleshooting, I had prompt responses and received several updates to assess the fix and its stability.
Eventually, the root problem was found and corrected and now I don't have anymore issues,
The last firmware I received is 1.2.1 Build 251204 Rel. 36651n
I wanna thank TAPO support for their timely and kind responses and for the final fix that solved the issue, I'm an happy customer

where did you get it? How did you upgrade since it's nor listed in the official release list ?

This one came along with change log so I think it's a public release.
Otherwise I think you have to raise a ticket as I did
