Firmware Version: 1.4.4

After updating my TC70 device to firmware version 1.4.4, the device no longer remembers the last camera position.

For example, if I adjust the pan and tilt to a specific view, the device forgets that position when it restarts and does not return to the previous view..

Hi,  
Please confirm the following information for the reported phenomenon.
  
  1. How do you reboot the camera after pan & tilt it, such as reboot it via the Tapo app or unplug the power cord to it?
  2. If the camera doesn't return to its previous position after restarting, where will it be positioned? For example, the center of the pan and tilt?
  3. Could you please explain the reason why you want the camera to return to its previous position after restarting?

Here are the answers to your questions:

 

  1. Any reboot process (whether I reboot it from the app or during a power failure).

  2. I’m not completely sure, but yes, it’s at the center of the pan and tilt.

  3. I need it because it’s already mounted between two locations, and I frequently switch views between them. Sometimes I need to continuously focus on a specific object.

 

Please note that I’ve already marked specific motion detection zones, but they don’t seem to work properly when the device switches position after a restart.

Lastly, this issue is new — I didn’t face this problem before the update.
