Model: Tapo C120
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.1

Hopefully soon there will be an update for the connection drop outs on the C120 as it also stops the recording

Comparing that to the c110 when that happened very rare occasion, it still recorded.

Brightness

Lights are flooding the image out on the c120, overexposed, is there any plans to add options in the menu to tone it down

Thanks

Hi,
1. For the disconnect issue, you can refer to the instructions below to troubleshoot.
What should I do if my Tapo smart devices keep losing connection or going offline?

If the problem remains, please confirm:
1) The LED status on the C120 when it loses connection.
2) How often does the issue happen?
3) The RSSI value on the camera's Device Settings > Device Info page when the camera is working, you can tap the Wi-Fi icon to see the RSSI value.

2. Have you inserted an SD card into the C120 and C110 to store video recordings?

3. Is the image posted on this thread the one you see on the Tapo app > Camera's Live View page? Is it zoom-in?
The main reason why the C120 page is overexposed is that the street lights on the monitoring screen are too bright. It is recommended to adjust the installation angle of the camera for a try.

Best Regards
