Model: Deco M9 Plus

Hardware Version: V17

Firmware Version: Newest one

I've noticed when no one is home and all devices are offline that the added deco ( not primary one) is using data. I have a cap of 1 terabyte and don't want to go over. The deco appears to be using data because I can see it exchanging under the settings but the main unit isn't. What's the reason behind this.

This is normal for Mesh networks. Only the Main unit is connected dirrectly to your ISP's modem so to keep the other units connected they have to transmit keep alive data between the remote nodes and the base unit. This is espically true if they are linkiing to each other via wireless.
