  @David-TP according to different sources it's available in a range from 5925 to 6425 MHz.

 

Plus, XE75 is available in Mexico. My wild guess is that it's just disabled in a firmware of XE75 Pro since it's not available in Mexico

  @olegafx I did a little bit of research and it looks like Mexico only approved of the 500 MHz (UNII-5) band in mid February 2023 and not the full 1200 MHz as initially was in discussion.  It most likely just needs a firmware update to activate the band for it to be used and not just be available on Day 1 after it was approved.

  @flai54 of course, they need some time to enable it. But the latest firmware release was made on 2023-03-30. However, the build number suggests that it was made on March 2nd. So maybe it was not included yet

  @olegafx You should try to submit a ticket to get that 6 GHz band activated in your region.

  @RobSal2023 I am using Azus Zephyrus m16(2023) , Intel AX211, latest driver, Deco XE75. 

The 6Ghz was working before, I clicked forget, and now it does not show up anymore!!!

 

Not sure what to do, updated drivers and tried everything. Region : India

  @RobSal2023 Almost into September and seeing this on my American XE75 I bought from Costco.
Is there a reason this band is enabled but not showing for 6E devices in the states? The lack of responses from support in this forum has me wondering if I should return this ASAP. Not to mention the problem I'm having was seen by others but still occurring.

  @WYLDSTALLYNS What issues are you seeing?  I am using the Deco XE75 in the USA and I am able to see my devices in the 6 GHz band.  Are you sure you have devices that support Wifi 6E and NOT just Wifi 6?  People can get easily confused thinking Wifi 6 USB adapters grants you access to the 6 GHz band when it does not.  I know in general most OEMs have not created Wifi 6E USB adapters yet but plenty of Wifi 6 USB adapters which further drive the misinformation.

 

Wifi 6 = 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands

Wifi 6E = 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands

 

The only device I own that is Wifi 6E capable is my Pixel 7 which is a phone which can easily build in Wifi 6E capabilities.  The 2nd easiest way is if you have a new laptop with a M.2230 slot where you can buy a Wifi 6E M.2230 adapter to enable it.

Though you were right on the 6GHz device my friend was using, but can see it on a Mac. Teaches you not to trust someone to know their hardware lol, it didn't help my detective skills that I have pneumonia, on steroids and I was trying to fix something around midnight lol. blush
I do appreciate you trying to check in and help though, I just informed my friend about their device, and they seem emba lol.

  @WYLDSTALLYNS I am also assuming you turned the option on 6 Ghz wifi from "Dedicated Backhaul" to "Wifi Network & Backhaul".
