The switch is from TP Link as well. Hardware version TL-SG108E 6.0. The firmware version is 1.0.0 Build 20230218 Rel.50633. Once the 3rd gen amazon tv cube is connected via rj45, it started out with a few mdns and after about 5 minutes then both the main deco and the cube blast mdns in a loop extremely fast rendering the deco unresponsive. Seeing the same when the cube is connected via wifi but much less disruptive. I used wireshark to do the packet sniffing. I had already uploaded logs and description via email. Haven't had a response yet.

According to goolge your switch is a partially managed switch so it "may" have the Loop Prevention option,

If you look at the back of the switch is there an opption for Loop Prevention? If so turn it on and see if that fixes the issue. If it's not on the back It may be in the switch's web-based interface.

Thanks

Have played with different options in the management console for the switch. Toggled the loop prevention on/off. Toggled the ICMP snooping on/off. The only option that works is throttle or disable broadcast on the port where the cube is connected. Also keep in mind, this behavior is observed with the Wifi connection as well. The wifi is less disruptive but has significant load.

here is the ticket TKID260452070 last I heard was trying to remote into my computer and ask for login and password. but due to scheduling conflict, it didn't work. In any case, I have a work around to fix my issues. Am just sharing what I found so it could potentially help others facing the same.

Re:BE63 Constant Issues
Tuesday

I'm glad I found this thread because I am fed up with my BE63 mesh. I've had constant WiFi dropping and freezing issues, along with websites that will not load on the first attempt (the second attempt always loads) when a PC is connected via wifi. Hard wired via Ethernet, no problems at all. I have the internet freezing up and saying no connection, then it will come back on. I've had dropped Zoom meetings because of the issues.

I've reset the units, swapped them out, called my fiber ISP to make sure it wasn't an issue on their side or with their fiber box. I've turned off IPv6, fast roaming, changed my DNS to Cloudflare, turned off MLO, and everything I can read on Google to do - and I still have these issues. Saw that my mesh unit was the 1.6 version.

At this point I want to just trash it, but I spent $600 on this set thinking it would be future proof for my 2gb fiber network.

My previous Deco mesh didn't have any of these issues and it was only $250. Very disappointed.

  @Shilex

it's the hardware version 1.6 has tons upon tons of issues call support immediately tell them the issues your facing and request hardware version 2.6 it fixes a lot of problems.
